The Government has said that all efforts are being made to sensitise police on juvenile justice issues. Expressing this intent of the Government in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Shri Salman Khurshid, Minister of Law & Justice said that the National Institute of Public Co-operation and Child Development (NIPCCD) under the Ministry of Women and Child Development has been organising training programmes for police as well as for master trainers managing the juvenile justice system.
